If you are looking to add to your antiques collection, you are in luck this weekend. Two shows will be held in the East AllenTownship-Bath area.
The ninth annual benefit Antiques Show for the Governor Wolf Historical Society takes place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the society’s campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road, in East Allen Township.

Organizers for the show have be busy clearing spaces in three buildings to accommodate the 30-plus exhibitors who will be offering a wide range of items including furniture, textiles, tools, folk art stoneware, jewelry and more.
During the show, there will be a demonstration of open hearth cooking in the newly restored Ralson-McKeen House. On Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m. certified appraise Charlotte Schneck will be offering appraisals for $5 (limit two, call ahead, 610-390-0555, to schedule a time).
Food, provide by the Daily Grind of Bath, will be available in the Schoolhouse Cafe. Admission costs $6.
Lehigh Valley history preserved
On Saturday, the third annual Chestnut Street Antiques Show & Sale offers a chance for more shopping in Bath.
Held in Fellowship Hall of the 1876 Christ Church of Bath, 109 S. Chestnut St., show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Twenty-plus exhibitors featuring prints, books, country furniture, textiles, folk art, early tools, toys, china, glass, and more will be on hand. Food will be provided by the church ladies in the Garden of Feedin’ Cafe. Admission is $5
