All of Spain is totally shocked by the fire declared in the Campanar neighborhood, in Valencia, last Thursday. 131 homes burned in less than an hour and more than 500 people were left homeless, losing all their personal belongings, a lifetime of memories and even their pets. Without a doubt, the worst part is the lives lost. This Saturday, authorities confirmed that ten people had died. A figure that could have been much higher without the presence of some “heroes”, as Ana Obregón recalled on her official Instagram profile.

There are many celebrities who have come forward to show their solidarity with those affected and with the city. For her part, Ana has echoed the news and has shared an image of Julián, the janitor who went door to door, warning the neighbors of the fire that had broken out and who has become the “unsung hero” of this tragedy. In the image, you can see the man visibly excited while receiving assistance from health services. “Julián, the janitor who saved many lives,” Obregón wrote through the stories on his official profile.

“My heart goes out to the 34 families affected by this terrible misfortune and to the relatives of the victims,” ??added the actress, after recognizing Julián’s bravery. Thus, Obregón sent all the force in the world to the city, and accompanied the story published on his Instagram profile with Samuel Barber’s musical composition Adagio for strings as a sign of mourning.

But the truth is that the biologist has not been the only one who has sent messages of support to the victims of this tragedy. Also other recognized faces, such as Paula Echevarría, have chosen to share the flag of Valencia and a large black ribbon. “My heart goes out to all the victims and families,” said the influencer.

Also political figures in our country, as well as sports entities and personalities from other spheres, such as music or cinema, have wanted to share signs of support for the city. “My thoughts and my heart go out to the victims and relatives of the terrible fire in Valencia. All the strength in the world in these difficult moments,” said Antonio Banderas.

It was around 5:30 p.m. last Thursday when the fire broke out. The fire started on the seventh floor of a building located on Maestro Rodrigo Avenue in Valencia. In a matter of time, the fire moved throughout the building, and even spread to the next building, since both were connected. The causes of the fire are now being investigated, although the investigation continues under summary secrecy.
