Finding love continues to be a pending task for many people. Currently, there are various applications to meet people, but more and more singles prefer to sign up for the most famous dating show on television to try their luck. On Tuesday night, First Dates viewers were treated to a new batch of quite surprising dates.
One of the evenings that has caused the most talk in this new installment was the one starring José Luis and Pilar. The 65-year-old bachelor from Malaga arrived at the restaurant confessing to being a great football lover. ”They have called me Maradona since 1982 when he went to the World Cup in Spain. I had long hair like him and to this day they still call me that,’ he said.
Another of his great passions was athletics, so he wanted to find a woman with whom he could share his hobby. ”We could go running and training together,” she declared. Her date was Pilar, a 64-year-old single woman from Cádiz who had been without a partner for twelve years. But the single woman wasn’t going to find love within the four walls of the restaurant either. ”When I came in I was shocked, I didn’t like it at all,” she said.
After exchanging their first words, Carlos Sobera accompanied the couple to their table to start the evening. However, the single woman would get up from the table during the first minutes of dinner with the excuse of going to the bathroom to tell the program team that she wanted to leave.
”He’s not my kind of man. I want a more cultured man, I don’t like him at all. “When I saw it I wanted to die,” he said. The single woman explained to one of the space twins that she was waiting for a crush and a different type of man. ”I see it in the village, I don’t have to be with a person I don’t like,” she insisted.
Despite her initial refusal, the single woman drastically changed her mind and chose to give José Luis a new opportunity. But as the minutes progressed, Pilar seemed more and more confident with her decision. Something that she made very clear in the middle of the evening. ”You’re not my type. Excuse me, I don’t want to hurt you,” she told him. To her surprise, José Luis confessed that he had not felt anything when he met her either. ”It may be that she didn’t like him, but I think it was more out of anger,” she said.
Moments later, the single woman got up from the table and left the restaurant. ”She was tiring me out, so why am I going to waste her time,” she clarified. For his part, the bachelor, who did not expect Pilar’s decision so suddenly, decided to stay at the restaurant to enjoy the rest of the dinner. ”If you call me, I’ll come, but find me a top girl,” the bachelor said before leaving.
