The most famous dating restaurant on the small screen, First Dates, reopened its doors for another day. On Tuesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners ready to fall in love as soon as they met their date. Something that Jesus experienced in the first person, a 38-year-old Galician bachelor who arrived confessing to being a rancher on his parents’ farm. ”I’m delighted with animals,” he said.
Furthermore, the bachelor considered himself a very athletic person to the point of having walked from Barcelona to Galicia. ”Because? You know there are trains and everything, right?” said the presenter. ”I went for a job that turned out to be a scam. I ran out of money and had no one to call and I walked back with two eggs, 1,200 km, 80 km day and night,’ he explained. He wanted to meet a hard-working, sincere, Latin woman.
His date was Kelly, a 36-year-old single Brazilian who claimed as soon as she arrived that she was “a walking hottie who doesn’t look her age.” ”I am hot and very fiery in bed,” she declared. The first impression among the singles was quite good, especially on the part of Jesús, who had had a great crush. ”I fell in love at first sight,” he said. ”He’s handsome, he’s fine,” she commented.
After exchanging their first words, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about their lives. During the first minutes of dinner, the couple discovered that one of their common passions was animals. In addition, the bachelor left Kelly speechless by confessing her feat on her feet. An adventure he was willing to do again just to meet Kelly. ”I’ve never been with a Galician, it could be interesting,” she declared.
However, the bachelor’s intensity and spontaneity were not entirely to Kelly’s liking. ”He’s not a bad boy, but he’s too spontaneous and that bothers me a little,” she said. Moments later, the restaurant of love was transformed into a dance floor, where Kelly and Jesús were involved in a rather uncomfortable moment. And the bachelor picked up the bachelor without warning in the middle of the dance. An act that completely displeased her date. ”I didn’t like it, I hate being picked up like this,” she asserted.
Despite that small setback, the complicity between the singles was more than evident, so the rest of the date took place without any inconvenience. ”To be from Galicia, she is just like the people there, with heart, with blood and with flavor,” the single woman confessed. ”Pure fire Galicia and Brazil,” said the Galician who kept flirting directly with his date. ”It’s very direct and too spontaneous,” she insisted.
In the final stretch of the evening, the singles moved to the program’s booth, where they once again demonstrated that chemistry could be the beginning of a beautiful love story. Finally, both confessed their desire to continue getting to know each other. But before leaving the restaurant, Kelly blamed Jesus for his performance at the dance. ”I hate it and you did it, but hey, nothing happens,” she commented.
