After a two-year hiatus, Masters of Sewing has returned to La 1 with twelve new contestants willing to become elite seamstresses. What has not changed in the sixth season is the program team: Raquel Sánchez Silva as presenter and the jury formed by Lorenzo Caprile, María Escoté and Palomo Spain.

At the start of this new edition, there has been no shortage of fun moments that characterize the program, Lorenzo Caprile being the protagonist of one of them. The renowned designer, known for his wit and sense of humor, has become the target of the first laughs of the season thanks to a comment that occurred during the presentation of the contestants.

Carlota, the first to appear among all the contestants, lives in London and works at the British Museum. “I work with the Egyptian and Middle Eastern collection. So I am always among mummies and more,” said the applicant.

Caprile couldn’t help but joke about his age, ironically emphasizing that he is the oldest. “Look, you’re going to be with one,” the designer said about the mummies that Carlota lives with in her daily life.

Caprile’s comment has given rise to the contestant bringing out all her spontaneity. Carlota wanted to downplay the designer’s age, but she ended up making a mistake with a comment that was as funny as it was unfortunate: “I’ve seen worse mummies than you.” Fortunately, the blood has not reached the river, since Caprile has taken it well.
