The Rubiales case can be seen in the cinema. The former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has signed with an American production company to make a film about his life.

In fact, we already know what the title will be: Red Carder (in Catalan, “Red Flag”). But it is still too early to know when it can be seen on the big screen: at the moment the team is working on writing the scripts and studying which actors could best represent Luis Rubiales.

The information was published by the digital newspaper El Correo, which assures that the film will focus on what the power structure is like in professional football, and how the protagonist became president of the Federation. Instead, he will ignore the non-consensual kiss with Jennifer Hermoso in the World Cup final.

They closed the contract at the end of 2023, in Los Angeles, and Rubiales has already received a part of the financial agreement.

Meanwhile, the former president continues in the Dominican Republic, despite the fact that a Madrid court ordered his arrest on March 20 for irregular awards of Federation contracts while Rubiales was its president.

However, it is scheduled to land in Spain at the end of this week, on Saturday, April 6.
