New installment of the quintessential television dating show. On Thursday night, new diners embarked on the unpredictable adventure of trying to find love within the four walls of First Dates. But not everything on the set of Cuatro’s space is rosy and many times love does not come to fruition between single couples.
One of the great events of the night was the one starring Carlos and Adelina. The 62-year-old Valencian bachelor arrived at the restaurant saying that he worked as a drummer and that due to his profession he has always been very seductive. ”3,722 women, but with love, a lot of love,” he confessed.
His date was going to be Adelina, a 56-year-old woman from Barcelona. ”I like to provoke, I like men to look at me,” she began by saying. She considered herself a person with great seduction skills, but all of her relationships had not been fruitful. When Adelina walked through the door, Carlos was very happy with her. ”She is a pretty woman, she is fine. “She has made a good impression on me,” she confessed.
The singles began the conversation, but the first obstacles began to appear. And it seemed like they didn’t completely understand each other. ”She didn’t understand, maybe it’s because she was nervous or a little deaf, but she didn’t hear things well,” said the bachelor. ”I don’t see him with the same energy that I have,” she stressed.

But things were going to get more tense when Carlos asked her what was the word that could excite her the most. Adelina didn’t know what to say and the bachelor suddenly blurted out: “The artichoke, I say it because of the tail of the artichoke.”
The single woman preferred less abrupt words like ”my love” or ”honey”, but the bachelor continued making rough jokes. ”They are jokes that I don’t understand,” she said. Therefore, in her final decision, Adelina blamed her words and rejected him forcefully.
