The most famous restaurant on the small screen has closed its doors for another week. On Friday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners willing to give it their all within the four walls of First Dates. One of the first singles to cross the doors of love was Manuel. The 64-year-old Valencian bachelor presented himself as a person who “did not follow trends.”

Despite having been lucky in love, the bachelor was at a stage in his life in which he wanted to meet a normal girl, with free time and who was a fan of the countryside. Of course, the bachelor stressed that her date did not have to be passionate about dancing because she was very bad at it.

Unfortunately, the show couldn’t make his wishes come true, as Encarna was the complete opposite of what the bachelor was looking for. The 66-year-old Valencian single was a person who liked dancing and was very insecure in love. ”I would like to fall in love because I think it is very nice to have that illusion,” she declared. And although she was looking forward to meeting an interesting person, the Valencian was disappointed when she met her date. ”I haven’t felt anything, the impression hasn’t been bad either, but it wasn’t what I expected,” she said.

For his part, Manuel had a completely opposite impression. ”When I saw Encarna she seemed like a very interesting person,” he said. After learning about her places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple to her table, where they began the evening talking about her personalities.

”I am very simple, I like everything in love. But when you are of a certain age, sex is not a priority,” he said. ”You’re looking for company more,” she replied. Suddenly, Manuel surprised her date again with an unusual revelation: ”I haven’t been to a nightclub in 30 years.”

”I do less, much less, plus I like to dance,” she responded. ”I don’t know how to dance. I’ve never liked it because I’m very shy,” the bachelor explained. Her little interest in dancing clashed with the tastes of the single woman, who confessed that she had tried to learn to dance salsa and bachata.

In the final stretch of the evening, the singles agreed by confessing that they were looking for a serious relationship, but without stress. ”A couple has to be based on trust, if there isn’t, that bond doesn’t exist,” she said. ”Confidence and hobbies,” the bachelor replied.

However, their few points in common were not enough for Encarna to want to continue getting to know the bachelor. For this reason, the Valencian woman rejected Manuel in the final decision, ensuring that what she had lacked was that romantic ”feeling”.
