Last week, I mentioned a memo sent out by Mick Mulvaney, director of the Office of Management and Budget, which addressed the Trump administration’s goal for spending cuts.
Someone at the OMB was nice enough to send me a copy of the memo. And, indeed, it deals with the “Comprehensive Plan for Reforming the Federal Government and Reducing the Federal Civilian Workforce.”
The “comprehensive plan” is addressed in a memo of just seven-pages, which makes me think that the Trump administration will be equally succinct whenever it gets around to dealing with tax reform.
What are the immediate actions the Trump administration wants the agencies to take?
“A plan to maximize employee performance” and develop “an agency reform plan.”
OMB wants replies to the plan by June 30.
