The Bono Comercio de València website collapsed this morning “due to excess users.” Cámara Valencia issued a statement on its networks at 11 a.m. to explain that it was impossible to access after it was blocked. The initiative was launched at 10 in the morning, when the City Council, in collaboration with the chamber entity, launched a total of 28,700 VLC 2023 Commerce Bonds.
There are a total of 1,000 businesses and points of sale participating in the campaign, according to the latest official figures, where users will later be able to use these bonuses. And this year, food stores are also joining the campaign. The commercial bonds aim to “stimulate consumption in small businesses by promoting physical purchases by citizens,” explained a few days ago by the delegate councilor for Commerce and Markets, Santiago Ballester.
The campaign puts into circulation today vouchers in wallet card format with a nominal value of 100 euros, of which 50 will be contributed by citizens, and the other 50 will be a direct contribution from the Valencia City Council. As established in the rules of the call, the value of the discount is 50% of the amount of the trade bonus. With this, 27,800 bonds will be put into circulation (which represents a total amount of 1,390,000 euros; the rest is considered as management expenses).
Consumers over 16 years of age may use these vouchers, and they may obtain a maximum of one voucher per registered DNI to make purchases at participating businesses. To participate in the campaign, each interested person must register on the website www.bonocomerciovlc.com, and pay half the price of the desired voucher by bank card. Purchases can be made from today until next November 30.
The program reserved a quota of 300 vouchers for purchase by people over 65 years of age, who could physically attend, while supplies last, between October 2 and 31, 2023 to the services that Cámara Valencia, but this same Monday They have been sold out.
Each voucher must be associated with a DNI or NIE. The format of the bonus will be through the issuance of cards from the bank with which Cámara Valencia signs the agreement contract, in which the amount of the bonus that the consumer acquires will be entered.
The promotion website contains a list of participating commercial establishments and, in addition, each establishment will have a badge that identifies it as a participant. Finally, the voucher card case will have a QR code to download the updated list of participating businesses.
