The TecnoCampus of Mataró will hold an open day on Saturday, April 20, aimed at those interested in exploring the educational opportunities offered by the institution.

The event includes a series of information sessions dedicated to each of the 19 official degrees and double degrees endorsed by the Pompeu Fabra University that are taught at the TecnoCampus.

During these morning and afternoon sessions, the coordinators of each of these academic programs will provide a detailed overview of the degrees, including the study plan, distinctive characteristics and possible career opportunities.

Among the degrees offered for the next course, there are those in the technological branch, such as electronic, industrial, automatic, computer science and industrial organization engineering; those of audiovisuals and video games; business (marketing, business administration, logistics or tourism); and those in the health field (nursing, physiotherapy, nutrition and sports sciences). These degrees can be taken in many cases as double degrees, so that two degrees are obtained in five years.

In addition to consulting the coordinators of each degree, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with current students, who will share their personal experiences and point out the most outstanding aspects of studying at the TecnoCampus, an environment that encourages internationalization, entrepreneurial spirit and connection with the professional world.

As Núria Mis, degree promotion technician at TecnoCampus, explains, the open day “is a good opportunity for students who are in this very important stage of deciding their future, to find out about their studies.” Mis recommends that young people, in addition to collecting information about the study plans for each grade, also ask about their professional opportunities.

The event will take place in two sessions, both in the morning and in the afternoon, and in both cases it will also include guided tours of the campus facilities. In this way, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the teaching spaces and available resources of this campus located in the city of Mataró, very close to the sea and with good communications.

In addition, a continuous academic management service will be provided throughout the day, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., to answer questions about scholarships, aid, registration calendar, pre-registration, among other administrative aspects.

The event is open to both future undergraduate students and their families, who will also be able to obtain information about master’s and postgraduate programs offered at the TecnoCampus.

This event offers the opportunity for those interested in exploring the educational options available and discovering the academic and professional environment offered by TecnoCampus, a university campus with more than 4,000 students that is also a technology park where 120 companies have their headquarters. .
