We all know that the German manufacturer Porsche specializes in high-end sports cars. What is perhaps less known is that the brand debuted in what is known as the top-level nautical sector with the proposal you see in the photographs. Named Royal Falcon One, it is a design whim that has no comparison with any other ship in its category.
Its size, 41 meters in total length above the water, is not large enough to be included in the category of superyacht or megayacht, but both its aesthetics and its ostentatious finishes are.
Royal Falcon One is a futuristic catamaran: a double-hulled vessel that has a large interior volume, additional stability when underway and the most fluid sailing experience possible for all its occupants. It is a high-performance, attractive and very elegant boat worthy of the German brand.
The boat has a very shallow draft that allows it to approach the shore more safely than many vessels of similar size, while its double-hull construction offers generous interior space that would be more common in a longer proposal. .
It is designed to accommodate up to ten people on board, distributed in a master suite with ensuite bathroom, a VIP room and three additional cabins, while the amenities range from a magnificent beach club with jacuzzi to spacious dining rooms and outdoor spaces, perfect for tanning, chatting and relaxing.
The performance of the boat is also on par with what is expected from a Porsche creation. Dual MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines give it a top speed of 37 knots (68.5 km/h). At a cruising speed of 10 knots (18.5 km/h), it can cruise smoothly without having to refuel up to 2,250 nautical miles (almost 4,200 km).
The Royal Falcon One was manufactured in 2019 by the Kockums AB studio and the Royal Falcon Fleet company, based on naval architecture by Incat Crowther, and is the only partnership that Porsche has made with yacht manufacturers. Since then, this unit has been looking for an owner who wants to sail the seas like a king with him.
In 2019 it was put up for sale for 32 million euros, although three years later it dropped to 27 million euros later. This remarkable vessel will be up for sale at a Gordon Brothers auction soon and we are expected to see her plying the Mediterranean very soon.
