The Ride On electric bicycle service temporarily suspends its activity on the occasion of the Sanfermines. The removal of the bicycles is carried out gradually between Monday and Tuesday, so that on Wednesday the service is suspended until after the San Fermín festivities.
As reported by the Pamplona City Council in a note, the bicycle rental service currently has 42 bases distributed throughout the city. Two of them, the Plaza de Toros and Plaza de Compañía, were withdrawn last week and a message was sent through the app to all people registered in the system. The covered bicycle racks will continue to be enabled during the holidays.
The electric bicycle service “contributes to sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and less use of private vehicles in the urban nucleus.”
In fact, the gauges installed in the city register an increase in the use of all types of bicycles, with an average circulation of 7,492 bicycles each day.
