The most notable advantage of cars with an Eco label is in large cities, where they have access to low-emission zones. This ECO label also allows you to benefit from discounts when parking and exemption from registration tax if the approved CO2 emissions are below 120 g/km.
The Eco label – blue in color – includes passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, vehicles with more than eight seats and also freight transport. These are gasoline vehicles that meet the Euro4, Euro5, Euro6 emissions level or with a Euro6 diesel engine. Among them are the mild hybrid (MHEV) models.

The Sandero is a true best seller on the market, thanks to its excellent relationship between price and product. The Eco-G version can run on gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), a quality that earns it the ECO label. Average consumption is 6.7 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 109 g/km. It is equipped with a one-liter engine, capable of developing 100 HP of power.
The only engine available for the popular and functional Fiat Panda is a one-liter gasoline block, capable of producing 70 HP and which has a 12-volt light hybridization system that gives it the desired Eco label from the DGT. . WLTP combined consumption is 4.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions from 109 g/km. With its 3.7 m length, it is an ideal vehicle for urban use.
The attractive Fiat 500 is one of the best priced models to get the Eco label and enjoy its advantages. The 500 Hybrid has a 70 HP 1.0 Hybrid engine, equipped with light hybridization technology and which allows you to enjoy low fuel consumption, with an approved average of 5.1 l/100 km and 115 g/km of CO2. This Italian icon is also available in a Cabrio version.
The new generation of the Clio offers the possibility of enjoying the Eco label at a very competitive price, thanks to its bi-fuel version, which can run on gasoline and liquefied gas. The engine offers a power of 100 HP, WLTP consumption is 5.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 108 g/km. One of its great virtues is its autonomy, thanks to its fuel and gas tanks of 39 and 32 liters respectively.
The end of its marketing has been announced for this year, but it is still possible to enjoy the Suzuki Ignis. It is equipped with a 12-volt hybridized gasoline engine, which allows it to enjoy the Eco label. The drive unit, which has an electric motor function together with a 10Ah lithium battery, produces a maximum power of 83 HP, fuel consumption WLTP is 5.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 114 g/km.
Dacia offers an engine that can run on LPG for the Jogger. It is equipped with an interesting 100 HP 3-cylinder gasoline engine, with approved combined consumption of 5.5 l/100 km and CO2 of 135 g/km. The ECO label thus allows you to enjoy a functional vehicle -532 liters of trunk volume- and that stands out for its extraordinary autonomy, thanks to the 50-liter gasoline tank and the gas tank, with a capacity of 40 liters.
With the renewed Swift (3.84 m long), Suzuki offers an affordable price car with an Eco label. It enjoys a 12-volt hybridization system – with a 2.3 kW electric motor – and the WLTP average consumption is at 5 l/100 km, with 111 g/km of CO2 emissions. The engine is a 1.2-liter gasoline block, capable of producing 83 HP. The GLE and GLX finishes are below 20,000 euros.
The Duster, a Dacia SUV body model, has in its range a three-cylinder gasoline engine that can run on LPG and develops 100 HP of maximum power. To achieve extensive autonomy, this attractive car has a 28 kg LPG tank and another gasoline tank, with a capacity of 50 liters. WLTP consumption for gasoline is 5.8 l/100 km and 9 kg/100 km for liquefied gas.
The Hyundai i20 can be enjoyed with a 100 HP 1.0 T-GDi gasoline engine, equipped with 48v mild hybrid technology. In this way you benefit from the advantages derived from the DGT’s ECO distinctive. Its engine provides good performance, with a maximum speed of 188 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 10.4 seconds. The WLTP approved consumption is 5.1 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 116 g/km.
Recently arrived, this self-charging hybrid has a combined power of 195 HP and has a WLTP approved consumption of 4.4 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 100 g/km. Thanks to its 1.83 kWh capacity battery, it enjoys the DGT Eco label, has a maximum speed in electric mode close to 95 km/h and has different driving modes that optimize its performance.
