TRENTON — A Yardville man, who worked as a school bus driver, admitted Friday to distributing child pornography using his e-mail account, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Christopher Walsh admitted that he “knowingly emailed a video depicting child sexual abuse to another individual,” on Aug. 2, 2015, according to a statement from Fishman’s office.
Walsh’s account either sent or received a total of 1,590 files that contained the illicit images between June 15, 2014 and Jan. 10, 2016, federal prosecutors said.
Walsh, 31, pleaded guilty Friday in Betticket Trenton federal court to receiving and distributing child pornography. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, a minimum five year term, a $250,000 fine and up to a lifetime on supervised release.
Officials did not specify where Walsh worked as a bus driver.
