The private equity firm Miura Partners has entered into the capital of Tierra Ingeniería y Paisajismo, specialized in sustainable green spaces. The investment seeks to expand the activity in the Iberian Peninsula and reinforce the commitment to sustainable gardening, according to a statement.

Tierra specializes in the creation and maintenance of sustainable green spaces for the private and public sectors that require high technical knowledge and innovation, promoting COâ‚‚ capture, biodiversity and mitigation of the impact of climate change in cities.

The company had a turnover of 10 million euros in 2022, with an annual growth of 25% in the last decade. It is based in Las Rozas (Madrid) and employs 150 workers dedicated to the creation and maintenance of unique and sustainable green spaces.

Led by Miura, with experience in scaling high-growth projects, it will seek its expansion in the Iberia region through organic growth or with the integration of other companies in the sector. “Tierra will be able to continue leading the sustainable gardening market in Spain and Miura will support a project with a clear focus on environmental and social impact,” the statement states.

The growing social awareness of the importance and need for green spaces “has contributed to the explosion in demand and the rapid consolidation of supply in European countries.” In this sense, Tierra leads the sustainable gardening market in Spain. “It has a founding team of solid and committed leadership, sustained growth and a vision aligned with the macro trends of sustainability,” said Luis Seguí, founding partner and CEO of Miura Partners.

“We are looking forward to our association with great enthusiasm to be able to offer added advantages to our clients, by consolidating the growth of the company, strengthening the technical team that already integrates it and expanding our services to the entire Iberian Peninsula”, stated Antonio Hernando, Founder and CEO of Tierra. “Miura’s entry will incorporate a valuable vision, an excited and committed team and extensive experience in driving high-growth and consolidation projects,” he added.
