The organization of the Magma Bike Marathon 2024 mountain bike race opens its general registration period for all mountain bike enthusiasts, with a total of 650 places available, for its two categories, 40 kilometers (125 places) and 60 kilometers (525 seats).
The organizers of the test, the El Pinar de El Hierro City Council and the Canarian Cycling Federation, opened a first registration period exclusively for El Hierro cyclists on January 12 in order to encourage local participation.
Once this is over, the general registration period opens today at 8:00 p.m. through the official website of the event www.magmabikemaraton.es.
Once the places are completed, a reserve list will be enabled with 100 available places, which will be assigned in order of registration, in the event that a registered participant cancels before February 15.
The organization warns that due to the interest in the event in recent years, registrations have been sold out in a matter of minutes since its opening.
The Magma Bike Marathon 2024 will be held on March 23 and 24 and promises to be a unique experience, which merges the sporting challenge with the exploration of the exceptional natural landscapes that El Pinar de El Hierro offers, the organizers highlight.
As a novelty in this edition, new, much more attractive sections will be enabled on the route, giving more prominence to the green meadows of Nisdafe.
