The Catalan family business Kave Home, based in Sils (Girona), closed the year with a turnover of around 200 million euros, 30% more than in 2022. A turnover that has grown thanks to the brand’s expansion plan in southern Europe which has allowed it to strengthen the market in France and Italy.

Currently the firm has 115 points of sale distributed in more than 50 countries. Apart from influencing the French and Italian markets, during this year they have increased the sales area and have opened franchise stores in countries such as Guatemala, Bulgaria, Iceland, Hungary and Singapore.

For this year, the company, which operates on five continents, will focus on large capitals and plans to open in cities such as Milan, Rome and Paris. The online channel has also grown by around 50% in the last year.

Kave Home designer furniture and decoration is present in hotel, corporate and restaurant chains, niches in which it has grown in the last year, as explained in a press release.

The company mainly attributes these figures to the recently inaugurated Tordera logistics warehouse and the launch of more than 1,000 new product references. Also to the brand’s most cultural project, Kave Gallery, an initiative that allows them to make unique design pieces in collaboration with artists using artisanal techniques for their creation.

The new Tordera platform has a total area of ??53,000 square meters and a storage capacity of 44,000 pallets in this first phase.

In 2025, the second phase of expansion of the logistics center will be built, which will expand the total area by more than 100,000 square meters.

The Tordera warehouse also includes a furniture recovery and recycling center. The space has allowed the company to increase by 40% the number of recovered furniture that is given a second life; recycle more than 90% of the waste generated by the center and reduce bulky waste by 60%.

The company has acquired a new furniture production plant in Yecla (Murcia) and has expanded its own upholstery center, located in the same region, with an additional 6,000 square meters.

The firm plans to manufacture the first custom furniture collections in Spain during the first quarter of this year. National manufacturing in its own centers will account for more than 30% of the total during 2024.

In 2024, the company led by Francesc Julià plans to create a technological center for product development and expand the Sils corporate headquarters to meet the growth of the workforce. It currently has more than 600 employees around the world.
