The tax return campaign enters a new stage. Starting this Monday, the Tax Agency allows you to request an appointment to file your income tax return by phone, with the help of a Treasury agent. This initiative reduces the error rate in the forms, by accompanying users with a call during the process of settling personal income tax.
The basis of the initiative consists of providing, on behalf of the Treasury, a specialized agent capable of accompanying taxpayers throughout the declaration process and thus resolving all doubts that may arise live and immediately.
To request an appointment to be attended by phone, you can choose one of the multiple channels available. The deadline opens this Monday, April 29, and closes on June 28, three days before the end of the campaign. Thus, both the Treasury and the user have margin to resolve forms that present errors or incomplete information.
The telephone service campaign starts on May 7. That is, appointments will be assigned for May 7 onwards. The last day with telephone service will be July 1, coinciding with the end of the income campaign. On the assigned day, “the Tax Agency will call you from the telephone number 810520052 to the telephone number that you have provided us (or from 917276222 if you have provided us with a foreign telephone number),” it is explained.
You can also cancel or change the appointment through the same means. The Tax Agency usually asks that appointments be canceled at least 24 hours in advance so that they can be reassigned to another person.
