To talk about all this, leaders from Roca Group, Nestlé and Cementos Molins met to share their success stories at the first meeting in Barcelona organized by the Hiberus Foundation. The roundtable offered unique and deep insight into how technology drives business growth and innovation, from optimizing processes to improving customer experience.
“Technology should not be used because it is fashionable, but because it makes sense to boost and improve the company,” stressed Jacques Nieuwland, Director of Digital Transformation at Roca Group. This perspective was shared by Verónica Díaz, eBusiness Manager at Nestlé Health Science, and Javier Sueiras, CIO of Cementos Molins, during the round table moderated by Sandra Parrilla, director of the Hiberus Foundation.
The debate focused on the importance of effectively integrating technology into business strategy, from internal awareness to conscious leadership in constantly changing technological environments, and how brands and companies should face current challenges now that tools based on AI are on everyone’s lips.
The three professionals agreed that it is essential that technology be at the service of professionals and strategy, and not the other way around. “In my experience, cases of application of artificial intelligence have always collaborated with people, enriching their work and not displacing them,” Sueiras explained. Díaz, from Nestlé, pointed out the importance of inspiring different company professionals to train in new technologies so that the company’s progress occurs in all its departments.
The event, held in the prestigious setting of the Roca Gallery in Barcelona, ??served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between business leaders committed to technological innovation.
