The Bicipalma public bicycle service now has 52 operating stations in different parts of Palma, 15 more since the end of December, when the new system was introduced.
This was explained by the mayor’s councilor for Sustainable Mobility, Francesc Dalmau, who with the councilor for Social Justice, Feminism and LGTBI and councilor for the Central District, Alberto Jarabo, the manager of the SMAP, Irene Nombela and the coordinator of the Central district, Guillermina Aguiló, has visited this morning the new station that has come into operation in the Plaza del Mercat.
In the last few weeks, nine new stations of Bicipalma have been incorporated located in different neighborhoods: they are those of Tomás Villanueva i Cortés, Mirador del Terreno, Marquès de la Sènia, Pascual Ribot-Son Pisa, Salvador Dalí-Francesc Martí Mora, Cas Capiscol, General Ricardo Ortega, Porto Pi and Pascual Ribot-Son Cotoner.
From the City Council they have insisted that their objective is to continue adding stations to expand the connectivity of the public bicycle network. Mobility works to reach 85 stations before summer.
