In these images in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can see the hill of Els Tres Hereus in original frames, through a chimney and among the branches of a tree.

The Serrat dels Tres Hereus is an Iberian-Roman village located in the Berguedà, which dates from the 3rd century BC. and we know that it was destroyed by a fire in the 1st century BC.

It is considered that the importance of this town lies in the fact that it can provide information on the Romanization of the interior of Catalonia.

According to the excavations carried out, the Serrat dels Tres Hereus seems to have formed part of a network of fortified sites with military and surveillance functions over the territories already pacified by Rome. Apparently, the town was related to the revolts against the Roman invader, dating from 195 BC.

The Els Tres Hereus settlement was structured around the cliff, with houses on different terraces to bridge the gap. It was surrounded by a perimeter wall that fulfilled defensive functions and reduced the risk of landslides.

Likewise, a large quantity of remains of stored cereals has been found in the town, which suggests that the inhabitants could have resisted a prolonged siege.

On the other hand, the Serrat dels Tres Hereus is part of the Ruta de los Maquis, which is a long-distance path that connects Berga and Manresa. It runs through an area that was the scene of the anti-Franco struggle.
