On the paths of Ossó de Sió, in the Urgell region, I saw a puput or hoopoe. Can you now help me find it in these three photographs that I captured at that moment?
This is the new visual challenge that I propose to you today in The Readers’ Challenge of La Vanguardia. The dynamics of the game are clear. I’m going to show you three images and you have to find this bird in each of the three snapshots. Do you dare?
Have you found the puput yet? Not yet? Well, I’m going to give you a clue. The hoopoe walks on the ground. And as an anecdote I will tell you that, like its relative the kingfisher, it tends to contain copious amounts of feces and they smell very bad, which serves as protection against predators.
I’m going to give you another help. In this photograph I am going to show you in detail the hoopoe, the bird we are looking for in order to overcome this visual challenge.
Time is over. If you haven’t managed to find the hoopoe, I’m sorry but I’m going to give you the solution. I show you the three photos again with the position of the puput marked.
