San Diego is in for a dry and warm November, as the weather forecast predicts no rain in the upcoming week. It seems like the temperatures will be above average, making it a great time to enjoy the outdoors in the city.
Currently, a low-pressure system is hovering off the coast, bringing some high clouds to the region. However, these clouds are expected to pass through intermittently, giving way to mostly sunny skies by Sunday. The weekend will see a gradual warming trend that will continue into early December.
Thanks to an offshore flow and weak Santa Ana winds, the mountains and valleys will experience relief from the windy conditions later in the evening. High pressure over northern Baja will also contribute to bumping up afternoon temperatures slightly each day.
On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach the low-to-mid 70s at the coast, upper 70s in the valleys, mid 60s in the mountains, and low 70s in the deserts. Some areas like Ramona, El Cajon, and Escondido may even see temperatures close to 80 degrees.
As we head into Sunday and Monday morning, patchy fog is likely to return to coastal areas. Despite this, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy the mild weather over the holiday weekend. So, make sure to get outside and make the most of the pleasant conditions while they last.
