A woman in St. Louis County, Terricca Miller, has found herself in serious trouble after a series of alarming incidents involving shootings, assault, and a dangerous police chase spanning over a week in north county.
The trouble began on Nov. 20 when Miller went to a friend’s house in the Velda Village Hills neighborhood. She knocked on the door with a gun in hand, and when her friend didn’t answer, Miller resorted to firing the gun into the air and inside the home. The gunfire shattered glass on the front door and caused damage to a nearby vehicle. The entire incident was caught on a doorbell camera.
A week later, on Nov. 28, Miller was allegedly involved in a shooting in the Pine Lawn neighborhood. Later that same day, she was at a gas station with an AR-15 by her side when someone stole the weapon. Miller then became agitated with the gas station attendant for not intervening and proceeded to grab another gun from her car. She then assaulted the attendant with the gun, threatening his life. The entire altercation was captured on surveillance video.
Following the gas station incident, Miller returned with her boyfriend, and another shooting took place. She fled the scene in a blue truck, which police later discovered was wanted in connection to the prior shootings. This led to a high-speed police chase that lasted for 45 minutes, with speeds exceeding 100 mph at times. Court documents revealed that Miller drove recklessly, narrowly avoiding collisions with other vehicles and even a Metro bus. The chase eventually came to an end in the City of St. Louis when Miller and her companions jumped out of the vehicle, resulting in severe injuries.
After the truck came to a stop, Miller was apprehended by police. They found the same handgun used in the gas station incident inside her purse. As a result, Miller is now facing charges for three counts of unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault, and aggravated fleeing a stop.
These series of events paint a disturbing picture of the actions taken by Terricca Miller and the potential danger she posed to the community. It serves as a reminder of the importance of swift police intervention in such situations to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
