Two women, aged 73 and 72, were found dead this Friday in a home in Toreno (León), apparently due to carbon monoxide poisoning, since they were located in a room of the house where they there was a coal boiler.

It was shortly before 12:00 p.m. when the León Civil Guard contacted the operations room of 112 Castilla y León to alert of the death of two people in a home, sources from the Emergency Service reported in a statement. collected by the Efe agency.

In the warning call, they indicated that it could be carbon monoxide poisoning, because they had been located in an area of ??the house where there was a coal boiler.

The 112 emergency center alerted the incident to the Toreno Local Police, the Ponferrada Firefighters and Emergencies Sanitarias-Sacyl, which sent a basic life support ambulance and health personnel from the municipality’s health center.
