Two brothers were injured last night in a shooting in the Seville neighborhood of Los Pajaritos, according to local media.
The injured are admitted to the Macarena hospital and the Virgen del RocÃo hospital with a serious prognosis. One of them was hit in the chest and another in the abdomen, according to the ABC newspaper.
Agents of the National Police have arrested a man around 02:00 in the morning this Tuesday in relation to the shooting according to Diario de Sevilla.
The shooting occurred on Calle Tórtola, where the shooting began. Then, according to police sources cited by ABC, one of the perpetrators of the shooting tried to take refuge in an address on Calle Mirlo, a ground floor that is used as a point of sale for drugs.
The National Police deployed in the area during the night to guarantee order, while a team from the Scientific Police carried out a visual inspection of the shooting.
Everything indicates that the shooting is related to the sale of drugs; although the same sources consulted explain that one of the wounded had been stabbed a few days ago in another brawl from which the investigators are trying to find out data to connect both events.
This happens the day after the National Institute of Statistics (INE) published the ranking of the poorest neighborhoods in the country, being Los Pajaritos, where the events occurred, the second in the list of areas with the lowest average annual net income, only surpassed by PolÃgon Sur, also in Seville.
