Two of the five people from the same family who were injured last Wednesday in a traffic accident in Loja (Granada) have died in hospital since the accident occurred. These are the two adult women who were involved in the accident that took place after 5:40 p.m. on March 19 at kilometer 6 of the GR-4407 highway, as it passes through Loja.
The oldest of the victims died that same day in a hospital in the capital and her daughter died this Sunday. The driver of the vehicle and his two granddaughters, minors and daughters of the woman who died, remain hospitalized at the plant.
After the accident, a road departure that could have been linked to a faint, the firefighters managed to free two of its five occupants from the car and the paramedics transported all of them to different hospitals with trauma and injuries of varying degrees.
