Two marijuana plantations dismantled in industrial warehouses in Castellar del Vallès

The National Police and the Local Police of Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona) have arrested nine members of a criminal group dedicated to the production of marijuana inside two industrial warehouses. A total of 2,111 marijuana plants and 260 kilos of buds have been seized.

The investigation began after a complaint from the electricity company itself, which suspected that these warehouses could be hosting indoor marijuana plantations, upon detecting fraudulent use of electricity.

After several investigations, the ships were searched. As a result of the investigation, it was possible to dismantle the marijuana plantations and arrest those responsible for the plantation.

The agents found a marijuana dryer in which there was a total of 260 kilos of marijuana in buds and in the drying process. The electricity company restored the electricity supply and calculated the amount defrauded by the two industrial warehouses at 724,208 euros.

The detainees were brought to justice, and three of them went to prison.

The investigation had the collaboration of the drone group of the National Police.
