The mossos have arrested two men, aged 42 and 46, in Òdena, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health and electricity fraud. At the end of May, the police learned of a significant power loss from a transformer in this town. Two technicians carried out checks in the area and observed that the ship in front of the transformer had an excessive charge reading that could be compatible with an ‘indoor’ marijuana plantation.
Due to the type of activity that was carried out on the ship, it was not justified either. This Thursday, June 22, the agents entered and made an investigation in the warehouse, where 3,017 marijuana plants were located in different states of growth distributed in eight rooms.
According to mossos reports, inside the warehouse there was a complex installation with fans, air conditioning units, spotlights and other tools to promote its cultivation.
Inside the birth, the mossos located two men who were detained for their alleged relationship with a crime against public health and electricity fraud. In the next few hours, they will be brought before the Court of Investigation of the Igualada Guard.
