In the narrow streets of Algeciras, a music video emerges as a moving tribute to flamenco legend, guitarist Paco de Lucía.

Directed and created by Naoufal Ghali, this project encapsulates the essence of flamenco art through the brilliant musical performance of violinist Daniel Valencia and the passionate grace of a young dancer.

The video that we can see in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia, is titled Homage Paco de Lucía from Algeciras, and transports viewers on a visual and auditory journey, from the Plaza Alta to the endearing Peña Cante Grande.

The fusion of the melancholic notes of the violin and the expressiveness of the dancer creates a unique experience, paying tribute to Paco de Lucía’s lasting contribution to the world of flamenco.

In a collaboration between artists, as director of photography and author Naoufal Ghali I have captured the emotional essence of music and dance, creating a video that not only celebrates the life and work of Paco de Lucía, but also highlights the cultural richness of Algeciras.

This project is more than a simple video, it is an artistic manifestation that transcends borders, reminding the world of the importance and global impact of Paco de Lucía on flamenco music. All the details are taken care of, such as costumes and staging (Miriam Fernández, from the Women hair salon in Algeciras, has styled the dancer).
