Toni Bou (Repsol Montesa) never fails, nor does he get tired of winning. At 36 years old, the pilot from Piera was crowned in France, in the last trial of the season, world champion of the outdoor specialty for the 17th time, all consecutive since 2007. It is nothing more and nothing less , that of Bou’s 33rd title… No one in the history of motor sports has stored so much glory.

In the last race of the season, the Trial de France, held in Vertolaye, Toni Bou left no room for doubt and finished off the championship with a victory, the tenth of the course, without having to reach the second day, tomorrow Sunday.

The Montesa Cota 4RT rider beat his great rival, Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) by 30 to 47 penalty points in the first round of the French race. Third was his Repsol Montesa teammate Gabriel Marcelli.

Toni Bou, the best trial rider in history, has won each and every one of the outdoor and indoor world championships since he signed for Montesa-Honda in 2007; so far, 33 titles in a row. A tally that he could increase this fall with the 17th indoor title (X-Trial).

To his record in the outdoor discipline we must add another 17 titles with the Spanish team in the Trial of Nations. Bou has reaped during his sports career a total of 141 victories in 252 events held in the outdoor World Cup and 196 podiums.
