Mossos d’Esquadra of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the North Metropolitan Police Region (RPMN) began an investigation on June 23 following the violent death of two men in Alella (Maresme). The victims were two men, ages 31 and 48. One of them was found inside a home, at number 18 Masnou Street, and the other was lying on the ground a few meters from the door of the home.

The efforts carried out by the investigators have allowed us to conclude that the events occurred during a drug assault in a home in this town between two criminal groups of drug traffickers facing each other, with the result of one man being killed by a knife and another by a gun. of fire.

On March 19, the Mossos d’Esquadra carried out a police operation to arrest the perpetrators of the events with four raids and investigations at the homes of those investigated in Sabadell, Vilassar de Mar and Alella.

The result of the operation was 3 men arrested, two of them related to the violent death of a man by firearm. The third detainee would be related to the logistics associated with drug trafficking of one of the two competing criminal groups.

Investigators are working with the hypothesis that the man who died from a firearm caused death by stabbing. Along the entrances, almost half a kilo of cocaine, cutting substance and cash were located.

The detainees, aged between 34 and 53 years old, and who have 12 criminal records for other similar events, were brought to justice today. The DIC keeps the investigation open and new arrests are not ruled out.
