The Mossos d’Esquadra have dismantled this Thursday an indoor plantation with 3,900 marijuana plants in Constantí (Tarragona) and have arrested three men as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health.

The operation took place after the Mossos received information in February about the installation of a plantation in a 2,000-square-meter warehouse in the Polígono Constantí, with an investment of more than 200,000 euros in its infrastructure, as reported by the police force this Saturday. it’s a statement.

During the entry and search of the ship this Thursday morning, the agents found about 15 air conditioning compressors; 138 spotlights with lamps; transformers; about thirty fans and several air filters, in addition to a “sophisticated odor management system to avoid detection”.

They also detected a fraudulent connection to the electricity grid: the alleged traffickers had dug a tunnel and used a stream to hide the fraudulent connection to the general for 80 meters.

The detainees spent this Saturday morning at the disposal of the investigating court on duty in Tarragona; the investigation remains open and further arrests are not ruled out.
