The National Police are investigating a group sexual assault allegedly committed by eight men against a 26-year-old young man in Las Cruces Park, in the Madrid district of Carabanchel, which supposedly occurred on New Year’s Eve.
The young man filed a complaint with the Madrid Municipal Police on Monday morning and reported that, after a night of partying, he was penetrated while the rest of the alleged attackers held him down, El Mundo has reported and police sources have confirmed to EFE.
The case is being investigated by agents from the Family and Women Care Unit (UFAM) of the Madrid Police Headquarters.
The young man, of Honduran nationality, called the Municipal Police, whose agents went to the place in Carabanchel where the victim was, in a state of intoxication.
According to what he told the agents, he struck up a conversation with two girls outside Las Cruces Park and joined their group, which included eight other men.
The women left and he entered the park with the alleged attackers, who penetrated him anally while they held him down and then left, he said.
