The Civil Guard has located skeletal remains, possibly a humerus, in a test pit located in the town of Manzanares (Ciudad Real) where they are looking for the body of businessman Jesús María González Borrajo, who disappeared in that town on June 19, 2019.

For the moment, the remains are unidentified, the Civil Guard has reported.

The investigation, carried out by agents of the Central Operating Unit and the Ciudad Real Command, is directed by the Manzanares Investigating Court No. 2.

The search for the businessman’s body was resumed on May 31 in a well located on a farm in the town of Ciudad Real, but the troops could not continue with the search due to the depth of the well, so they incorporated new machinery to continue with the search. the inquiries.

Since June 2019, this 57-year-old businessman has been missing after traveling to Manzanares from Vitoria (Álava) with the purpose of selling two luxury vehicles in a transaction in which Antonio C., the last person, acted as mediator. who saw him alive.

The businessman, dedicated to the slot machine business, did not take a flight to Paraguay the day after his disappearance, as planned.

González Borrajo’s family has always suspected that his case is linked to that of Juan Miguel Isla, who disappeared on July 21, 2022 and whose mortal remains were found last March in a well located on a farm owned by Antonio C.

Both he and Gaspar R., who allegedly collaborated in the transport and concealment of Isla’s body, also participated as detainees in the searches that the agents carried out in the framework of the investigation.
