The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 60-year-old man whom they accuse of being related to the violent death of another man in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Garraf).
As reported this afternoon by the regional police, this man would allegedly be related to the death of another man on a plot of land in this town where there are different barracks.
The Mossos have specified in a statement that around 7:20 p.m. on Sunday they received the notification that in that area there was a person lying on the ground who was seriously injured.
Upon arriving at the scene, the agents of the Criminal Investigation Division of the southern metropolitan police region, together with personnel from the Medical Emergency Service (SEM), found the facts and the death of a man.
After various investigative efforts, the police identified and located a man who was allegedly related to these events, for which he was detained yesterday.
The division in question has taken charge of the investigation, which is under confidentiality.
