Today in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos I would like to show some photographs taken in Mequinenza. We can see how the Cinca and the Segre river mix with the Ebro river.

It is clear that there is no lack of water in the Mequinenza dam. In fact, this reservoir, which then releases the water into the “aiguabarreig” of these rivers, is at a capacity of 94%.

Great news, taking into account that along the course of the river, it will rain this week, thus increasing water reserves.

It is also worth noting that once we have passed the Mequinenza dam, the width from bank to bank is still very large. This reservoir receives the geotourism name of Mar de Aragón.

Leaving aside the purely water issue, it is also worth noting that some popular activities are carried out here, such as catfish fishing or, for example, regatta competitions.
