The Frankfurt Pedralbes, one of the most famous establishments in Barcelona and which announced a few weeks ago that it was temporarily closing due to lack of supply, has announced that it will reopen its doors in a few days.

Specifically, this popular venue located on Jordi Girona street, in the Pedralbes neighborhood of Barcelona, ??is expected to reopen next Monday, June 26.

However, the other two premises that the company, Frankfurt’s Casa Vallès, has in the Catalan capital will not reopen for now. As Betevé explains, the reasons are that the one in Gran de Gràcia is still under construction and the one in Carrer de Alfambra, also in Pedralbes, will not reopen until August because in July it will close for holidays. However, the same company has other stores in Terrassa and Badalona, ??and these will reopen.

The reason for the reopening of most of Frankfurt’s Casa Vallès establishments, including Frankfurt Pedralbes, is that the company has acquired the Embotits Viver factory.

The operation was closed at the beginning of June and with this, the company has been able to solve the supply problems and, in this way, will be able to return to producing its products.

As explained by TV3, Frankfurt’s Casa Vallès also distributes its products to other establishments such as restaurants and shops, and the problem of lack of supply began when the owner of the company’s usual supplier retired and sold it.

Manel Vallès, owner of Frankfurt Pedralbes, told the same channel that with the new owner of the provider “things were not as they had to go.” “He proposed that I sign a certain contract that I could not accept and told me that I would either sign or cut off my supply,” he specified.

Finally, Vallès had to opt for the second option but, fortunately for his clients, only one month after its temporary closure, most of the premises of Frankfurt’s Casa Vallès will reopen their doors in a few days.
