The Civil Guard has located this morning thanks to an extensive search device the lifeless body of the 21-year-old girl who disappeared on Sunday near the Molino de la Hoz reservoir, in the town of Las Rozas, the Madrid Command reported in a statement.
The young woman, Elena Isabel Peñas, was last seen on the 19th in the residential area of ??Levitt Lazarejo, near the place where the body was found. She was wearing a black jacket, beige sweatpants and black sneakers.
This disappearance has caused great commotion in Las Rozas, where residents have set up several search groups made up of volunteers, distributing the photo of the young woman in many streets of the municipality and other surrounding areas and on social networks. SOS Desaparecidos described the young woman as a “vulnerable person”, given, among other things, the medication she required.
Now the Civil Guard will investigate the causes of the disappearance and death. After the arrival of the forensic judge and the removal of the body, an autopsy will be performed. The young woman had already disappeared on other occasions and this last one has also been in principle voluntary, sources from the investigation have indicated to Europa Press.
