In the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see the two faces of the dawn in the municipality of Montseny, in the Vallès Oriental, two days apart and with two very different phenomena: the fog and the candilazo.

Montseny stands out for its tourist and landscape offering, with routes, excursions, traditional fairs, hotels, inns and restaurants.

The relief of the municipality is very rugged, as it extends from the peaks of Matagalls and Les Agudes at around 1700 meters of altitude, to below the main center of the town, which is located around the parish church, at a height of 530 meters. The Tordera river rises in the Font Bona, in the Coll de Sant Marçal.

Fog is a meteorological phenomenon that consists of the suspension of very small water droplets in the atmosphere or of moist hygroscopic particles, which reduce horizontal visibility to a distance of one kilometer or more. If the meteorological phenomenon gives a vision of 1 km or less, it is considered fog; and if it allows you to see more than 1 km, the phenomenon is fog.

For its part, the candilazo is a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors that ranges from pink to the most intense orange.

As part of the phenomenon of dispersion of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closer to the horizon, the light that reaches the Earth is soft tones between red and orange.
