The Royal Camp has already arrived in Olot, the capital of La Garrotxa. For three days, the royal pages and postmen receive the letters from the boys and girls, as we see in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.
Clarà Square is the place where the camp is set up every year and, later, on January 5, the traditional Royal Parade arrives that runs through the main streets of Olot until reaching Firal, where the Three Wise Men receive the key to the city of hands of the mayor. Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar will be accompanied by 300 pages.
As detailed by the City Council, as has been done in recent years, to avoid long lines and the wait of many families, the reservation of free tickets online has been launched.
There is, therefore, no physical sale of tickets and, to ensure that all families can enjoy the Royal Camp, a parallel queue has been set up for those who do not have a ticket and the accesses to the venue will be staggered. In total, it is estimated that around 900 tickets are made available daily.
