The investigating court number 3 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria) has opened proceedings against the four Real Madrid youth players investigated for their alleged involvement in the dissemination of a video with sexual content and will take statements from two victims for two crimes against the privacy.
According to sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC), the judicial authority received this Monday the report from the Civil Guard in reference to this matter and has initiated preliminary proceedings for the possible commission of the crimes of recording without consent and dissemination of a sex video.
Last week, sources from the Civil Guard reported that there were three youth players detained and a fourth investigated for the dissemination of a video that affected a minor under 16 years of age, although now the number of alleged victims has been increased to two.
The first tests that the court will carry out will be the dumping of the contents of the four seized mobile phones – those of the three detained and the fourth under investigation – and the taking of statements from the alleged victims. The aforementioned sources indicate that it is foreseeable that the accused, the four Real Madrid youth players, will then be summoned.
The events investigated occurred in the town of Mogán (Gran Canaria) in mid-June, but the mother of the minor stated that she has now learned that these images exist and are being disseminated. In his complaint, he indicated that there were supposedly recordings of consensual sexual relations involving her daughter, although they were recorded without her consent and that they had just learned that they were circulating. The youth players were arrested on Thursday in Valdebebas as a culmination of the police investigation.
