The organizer of the protest in front of the PSOE headquarters in which a doll that pretended to be the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, was beaten, assures that he communicated the concentration to the Government Delegation to “do a favor” to Revuelta, the front. youth backed by Vox.
Revuelta, after the images went viral in which several protesters were seen beating the doll, already explained that after the bells of New Year’s Eve – the day on which the events occurred – two protesters hung “a giant piñata” of the President of the Government, “which had passed the usual police checks at the entrances to Ferraz”. “End of history,” they said in X.
Given what happened, the PSOE considered that the events “may be included in a hate crime”, so in Ferraz they are studying “all legal avenues” against the participants, organizers and presenters of the broadcast that was made of the protest on a YouTube channel.
“They asked me for a favor and I did it,” declared Antonio Martínez Vázquez upon leaving the police station, where he had been summoned to testify. Before the agents of the Provincial Information Brigade of the National Police, the organizer has also admitted that he reported the protest, but that he did not even attend the rally because he was indisposed, according to police sources.
Martínez has also explained that he does not know the people who hit the Pedro Sánchez doll. Nor who was in charge of doing it, according to the same sources. Now, the National Police will have to finalize the report to send it to the court to decide if it is necessary to carry out more investigative measures or close the matter.
