The mayor of Arganda del Rey, Alberto Escribano, has demanded from the previous municipal government (PSOE) computers from the Mayor’s Office that were not in the offices when they went to the Town Hall.

“The empty table, even the computers have been taken away. It doesn’t matter, to work for Arganda you only needed enthusiasm and desire. At your service,” the councilor denounced this Monday in a message on his Twitter account, to which he attached a photo already sitting in his office.

According to municipal sources, these are devices that until now were used by the mayor as well as by Cabinet personnel and that since Monday were needed to carry out administrative procedures.

After what happened, the popular mayor requested a report from the Information Technology Department, which has numbered 13 devices that are not where they should be, and has formally claimed them, since he considers that the City Council is “a serious institution” and This can not be allowed”. These same sources have confirmed that they have already reported that they will be returned.

Guillermo Hita, outgoing mayor, replied that the office he received from his predecessor “was completely empty. There was a box of tissues and a bible on the table. The computer had a broken hard drive, making it unusable.” .
