In this series of photographs in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can see how the moon appears behind the mountains in Alcorisa (Teruel).
The relief of the municipality is characterized by the foothills of the Iberian System, considered a stepping stone towards the highlands of the center and south of the province of Teruel.
In this sense, the Cantera Saso mountain range stands out to the northeast, with the Peña Águila (833 meters), and the Caballos mountain range to the southeast, with the Carrasca hill (885 meters) on the border with Castellote.
Furthermore, under the watchful eye of the moon at night and the sun during the day, the Guadalopillo River runs in a box on its way to the Guadalope. It receives the waters of the Alchoza River.
The town stands 632 meters above sea level. The highest point is at 896 meters on the border with Berge, while the lowest is 540 meters on the Guadalopillo River.
