The Secretary General of Digital and Territorial Policies, Ricard Font, will address the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, this Friday, and will not attend a press conference on the future of Vallès infrastructures “as a sign of rejection due to the lack of state investments in Catalonia “.
This has been announced by sources from the Vice Presidency in a statement, where they add that they will wait for the Bilateral Infrastructure Commission, of a “technical” nature, scheduled for next Friday, and for the explanations provided by the State to assess the steps to follow. .
In parallel, the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, has branded as “words” the proposals of the Spanish Executive on the Vallés Fourth Belt, which Raquel Sánchez presents this Friday at a press conference at 1:00 p.m.
Although the Spanish Executive has reported that there is an agreement with the Generalitat and the area councils in relation to the future of the B-40 road, Aragonès, from Seu d’Urgell, has assured that these proposals “are not supported by no specific agreement; therefore, nine words”, he stated.
Aragonés has affirmed that “the time for words has already passed” and that the Government cannot “endorse” this type of action because, he has insisted, what is needed are “certainties and that the investments be executed”. In this sense, he considers that it is necessary to find “other formulas for managing State investments” such as, he has said, “shared instruments” when it comes to bidding for investments. However, he assured that “there is an underlying political problem and that is that the State is thinking radially.”
The leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, has shown from Rubí his discomfort at the plan of the Generalitat to the minister. “It is the attitude that precisely does not suit Catalonia”, has valued Illa, who has branded the absence of the Government “unjustified”. “It seems that some like things not to be resolved”, added the first secretary of the PSC, who has reproached the Generalitat for the Minister of Transport and Mobility going to Sabadell “and they don’t go”.
