The Torre Glòries viewpoint has established itself as one of the main tourist and cultural attractions of the Catalan capital, which has led it to be part of the exclusive list of super viewpoints of the World Federation of Great Towers, competing with monuments such as the Empire State and the Eiffel Tower. It is the second viewpoint in Spain that enters this podium, after the Collserola Tower, also in Barceloma.

The large numbers reaffirm the success, with more than 220,000 visitors since its opening. Thanks to its 360º viewpoint located 125 meters high, they manage to rediscover Barcelona through a new look. During the last year, visitors have increased by 20%, where 42% are national and 58% international.

Aleix Pratdepàdua, director of Mirador Torre Glòries, explains that the viewpoint is consolidating itself as an international reference with awareness focused on sustainability and the climate emergency. “The acceptance of the public and the invitation to belong to the World Federation of Great Towers is the best recognition of these two years of work, says Pratdepàdua. Likewise, it invites visitors to understand the Barcelona of the present to reimagine the cities of the future .

The iconic Barcelona skyline will share the podium with the most emblematic viewpoints in the world. The World Federation of Great Towers aims to showcase the amazing architectural structures, where towers have been one of the oldest achievements of humanity. From the Federation they affirm that the towers are monuments on their own and become symbols of their cities, but that together they gain importance as an association, exchanging ideas and promoting each other.

The renovating spirit of the Mirador Torre Glòries shows a gridded vision of the city streets with the fusion of the sea, being a hallmark for its inhabitants and turning the building into something more than a viewpoint.

To celebrate its second anniversary, the Mirador invites all its visitors from May 18 to 20 to witness a special lighting and invites them to tour the interior of the sculpture suspended from the dome, Cloud Cities Barcelona with the purchase of general admission to the Lookout.
