The Aplec del Caracol of Lleida is warming up for the 43rd edition that will reach record numbers of 15,000 supporters clubs and 119 clubs from May 24 to 26.
According to the president of the Federation of Colles de l’Aplec del Cargol de Lleida (FECOLL), Ferran Pèrdrix, the party enjoys “an iron health” and incorporates four peñas – about 500 new peñistas – compared to last year.
For the first time, the party will have a non-alcoholic beverage bar available to both club members and visitors.
Another novelty this year is the creation of a children’s parade to encourage the ‘Aplequista’ spirit among the little ones and involve them “directly” in the party.
