The plenary session of the Governing Board of the General Irrigation Community of the Canals d’Urgell has approved establishing a survival irrigation shift for trees between June 12 and 21. This is a first round of irrigation that will circulate through the main canal from the end of this to the end of April due to the scarce reserves due to the drought.

In this way, for 10 days, water will be distributed through the nozzles according to a new distribution pattern based on the area of trees. And, at the same time, water will be supplied jointly by the supplies.

In addition, it is planned to establish a second irrigation shift in mid-July, which will be agreed upon in a subsequent community assembly at the beginning of the month.
